Hippo Waterfront Lodge offers B&B type wooden cabins, as well as Self catering units.  Accommodation consists of the following: Lion rooms (B&B) – Four sleeper (x 6 Units):  1 room with 4 single beds, en-suite bath basin & toilet, 3 speed ceiling fan, heater, bedside draws, storage shelf and hanging room.  Use of communal bar, lounge and kitchen.  Breakfast and dinner optional.   Leopard rooms (Self catering) – Two sleeper (x 3 Units):   1 Room with 1 double & 1 single bed, en-suite shower basin & toilet, 3 speed ceiling fan, heater, color television (SABC only), bedside draws, storage shelf and hanging room, private balcony, fully equipped kitchen.  Full use of communal amenities.  Breakfast and dinner optional.   Rhino rooms (Self catering) – Four sleeper (x 4 Units):  2 Bedrooms Max 4 adults, shower basin & toilet, 3 speed ceiling fan, heater, color television (SABC only), bedside draws, storage shelf and hanging room, private balcony with braai, fully equipped kitchen.  Full use of communal amenities.  Breakfast and dinner optional.   Elephant rooms (Self catering) – Six sleeper (x 2 Units):  Sleeps max 6 adults (2 Rooms), en-suite shower basin & toilet, 3 speed ceiling fan, heater, color television (SABC only), bedside draws, large private balcony, fully equipped kitchen.  Full use of communal amenities.  Breakfast and dinner optional.   Communal amenities:  Bar and lounge, breakfast and dining area, private guest pool, garden leading down to the River.
