Thanda Nani Game Lodge accommodates 60 people sharing in 30 comfortable thatched "Rondawels", all with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms (shower and bath).
For many visitors, the atmosphere of the "Rondawels" - round cottages inspired by traditional African homes - evokes the true spirit of the "Bushveld". DSTV, safe, hairdryer, air-conditioning and ceiling fans in all units.
The "Rondawels" sleep 2 people in either Double or Twhin beds. Two of the "Rondawels" are ideal for families, with accommodation for three to four people. Across a bridge from the Main Camp are the Roan and Sable Luxury Suites with two en-suite bathrooms in each unit, private verandah with views of the surrounding bush, tea/coffee making facilities and mini-bars.
Breakfast is served Al Fresco - cereals, fruit and yoghurt, followed by a full farmhouse selection.
In the late afternoon there is the opportunity for a Game Drive and sundowners overlooking the plains.
A full three course dinner is served at the Main Lodge besides a roaring campfire, under the stars (weather permitting).
Communal facilities: Plunge pool, fully licenced Bar, television and lounge area with DSTV and a curio shop.
Thanda Nani is home to a rare species breeding project and offers fabulous viewing of plains animals not usually seen. These include over 100 white and 20 black rhinoceros, and the majestic great antelope species of Africa - Roan, Sable and Tsessebe.
