	TSHUKUDU BUSH CAMP FACTS AND VISITORS INFORMATION:
	Tshukudu Bush Camp consists of six thatched chalets, offering two, three, four or five bed accommodation. A total of twenty guests can be accommodated at a time, but the entire camp can be booked out if group consists of more than twelve adult guests. The central kitchen area and boma is easily accessible, and experienced staff are on hand to assist with the cooking and clean up. The camp is electrified, providing electricity for bedroom fans and lights. The recently upgraded camp now includes a swimming pool where guests can laze away the day between the morning walk and afternoon game drive that is included in the price. A hide overlooking a nearby water point is the perfect place for guests to watch birds, or to simply relax in the tranquility of the veld. One of the major attractions at Tshukudu is the company on morning walks - Tshukudu often rehabilitates orphaned animals, who sometimes accompany guests on the walk. Becky, an elephant orphaned many years ago by culling in the Kruger National Park, is a frequent companion. Tshukudu also has a lion breeding programme, with over 270 lions having been bred and reintroduced into various game reserves. Guests can visit the lion breeding camps on request. Tshukudu Bush Camp offers an ideal central venue for exploring many of the area's attractions, such as the Panorama Route, traditional tribal villages, boat trips on the Blyde dam, and many other interesting opportunities.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: DAY OF ARRIVAL, NIGHT DRIVE

Becky's calf Self drive to Tshukudu Bush Camp in the Hoedspruit region of Mpumalanga province. Included in the rate is a 2 to 3 hour late afternoon/early evening game drive, where guests often have the opportunity to interact with Becky the elephant and her new calf which was hand raised on the property. Whilst you are on your game drive the staff will light a fire and there will be coals ready for your to prepare your evening meal. Alternatively, meals can also be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Each guest is allocated a cupboard and a fridge in the kitchen to store away personal items. Wild animals often stroll into Camp for a visit, please don't get a fright when Savannah (a hand raised cheetah) comes to introduce herself !!!

DAY 2: BUSH WALK, DAY AT LEISURE

Walking with Chobe Early morning guests will be collected from the Bush Camp for a bush walk with a difference (included in the rate!!!). Chobe the lion cub might accompany you, and before you return you will experience an encounter with a rare King cheetah on a guided tour of the cheetah rehabilitation project (included in the rate!!!). Once again the staff are on hand back at the Camp to assist with breakfast preparations. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the surrounding area.

DAY 3: DAY OF DEPARTURE, BUSH WALK

Once again guests will be collected for an early morning bush walk (included in the rate!!!). Check out after breakfast. Guests can choose to travel back home via either the scenic Panorama route OR via the Kruger National Park (enter through Orpen Gate).

PRICE PER PERSON: ONLY R 405 per night!!!

Children between 2 and 12 years half price.
