We realize that the ever increasing cost of living means that newly wed couples are forced to become very “creative” when it comes to planning a honeymoon.  We’ve put together a 7 day, self-drive package to spectacular Mpumalanga province, filled with excitement and special moments…  The result is an unforgettable honeymoon which will not cost you “an arm and a leg”!!! ITINERARY:
				DAY 1:  Hazyview The “lovebirds” are to self-drive to the holiday town of Hazyview (app 300 km’s from Gauteng) in Mpumalanga Province and check into either Perry’s Bridge OR Hippo Hollow (depending on availability).  Afternoon at leisure to shop and explore the nearby Perry’s Bridge Trading Post centre.  Shops include:  Jeep Adventure Store, Hair & Beauty Salon, Internet Café, Safari Surfers, Earth Collection, Coffee shops and Restaurants.  Dinner (own expense) can be enjoyed at one of the restaurants in town OR at the Hotel.   Overnight:  Perry's Bridge Hollow OR Hippo Hollow - Hazyview (BB)
				DAY 2:  Hoedspruit via the Panorama Route Check out after breakfast (included) and head towards Graskop and on to the famous “Panorama Route”.  Be sure to stop at:  Gods window, the Pinnacle, Berlin Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the spectacular Three Rondawels viewpoint. Continue towards Hoedspruit via the Abel Erasmus Pass.  Check into Moholoholo YaMati situated on the banks of the Blyde River late afternoon.  A private dinner for two (our treat, included) will be served at your chalet!!!   Overnight:  Moholoholo YaMati - Hoedspruit (DBB)
				DAY 3:  Tshukudu Bush Camp A Full English breakfast will be served at your chalet this morning (included).  Check out after breakfast and head over to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation centre for a fascinating guided tour (own expense) starting at 09h30.  After the tour, depart for the nearby Tshukudu Bush camp where you will spend the night.  Be sure to stock up on provisions for the night.  Time for “hubby” to show off his culinary skills by cooking dinner for his new bride!  Tshukudu Bush Camp is no ordinary Private Game Reserve...some of the animals have been hand raised and then released into the wild.  It is not uncommon to encounter Becky and her baby (Elephants) on the afternoon game drive...and occasionally Savannah (Cheetah) strolls into Camp for some attention! You will be collected from the Bush camp for a late afternoon/early evening game drive (included in the rate!!!).  Return to a roaring fire prepared by the staff whilst you were away and prepare your own dinner under the stars. Overnight:  Tshukudu Bush Camp - Hoedspruit (Bed only, all meals own expense)
				DAY 4:  Kruger National Park Early morning guests will be collected from the Bush Camp for a bush walk with a difference (included in the rate!!!).  Chobe the lion cub OR Amanza the leopard cub might accompany you, and before you return you will experience an encounter with a rare King cheetah on a guided tour of the cheetah rehabilitation project (included in the rate!!!).  Since “hubby” cooked dinner the night before, perhaps “wify” can return the favor by preparing a scrumptious breakfast before check out and departure…  Tonight’s destination is the famous Kruger National Park (enter through Orpen Gate).  Rest of the day at leisure to drive around and search for the elusive “Big 5”.  Check into Satara, Olifants or Letaba camp (depending on availability) for the night.  Dinner (buffet) can be enjoyed at the Camps restaurant…or since the Chalets in the Kruger National Park are fully equipped for self-catering…perhaps “hubby” would prefer to show of his cooking skills again? Overnight:  Kruger National Park - Northern Restcamp (Bed only, all meals own expense)
				DAY 5:  Kruger National Park The best time for game viewing is unquestionably early morning, and we suggest heading out as soon as the Gates open.  Today you will head towards the Southern part of the Park where you will spend another night.  The entire day has been put aside for game viewing, perhaps stopping for brunch (own expense) en-route at one of the Parks picnic spots.  With a bit of luck you might even come across a lion kill!  Be sure to check into your restcamp (Skukuza, Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop – depending on availability) before Gate closing time.  Dinner own expense. Overnight:  Kruger National Park - Southern Restcamp (Bed only, all meals own expense)
				DAY 6:  KwaMadwala Private Game Reserve Enjoy a little sleep in this morning and depart after breakfast (own expense).  Exit the Park through Malelane Gate and head towards Hectorspruit, situated in the Maputo corridor.  Continue on to Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve and check into the fabulous Manyatta Rock Camp.  Lunch (included) is served in the open air restaurant whilst enjoying the view from your elevated position.  This afternoon’s activity is an Elephant Back Safari (included in the rate!!!).  Your Ranger will drive you to the Boma where you will be introduced to Modjadji and Tshwale.  After a short introduction and interaction experience, you will go on a Sunset Elephant Back Safari to a nearby waterhole. Here you will have a selection of cold drinks waiting as you watch the sunset.  Your Ranger will be waiting to take you back to Manyatta Rock Camp to freshen up before dinner (included). 				DAY 7:  Day of departure As a perfect ending to your "honeymoon", we’ve arranged a flight with the eagles before you start heading back to Gauteng.  Your Ranger will take you the landing strip for a 30 minute micro light Safari over the Reserve (included in the rate!!!).  Using microlight aircraft which carry one person at a time and which afford near 360 degree views, this is possibly the ultimate safari viewing experience!  Return to the Lodge for breakfast, check out and departure.  End of services. “Siyabonga” (we thank you), and “Hamba kahle” (go well)
